I recently visited the Home Start Wirral Charity Shop, opposite the sixth form college on Upton Road. We have such an exciting new community area developing in Birkenhead. Last week I joined four hundred local residents at Ilchester Park, which hosted a festival near the St James’ Centre. Ilchester Park was, until quite recently, a plain area of land near the docks.
